Naming the resource guide The Journey comes from the cover of the notebook which was created by local artist Mavis Liggett. A breast cancer survivor, Mavis depicts her experience and feelings, while undergoing treatment, in a seven-painting series called The Radiation Series, which includes this painting, Journey.
